The "no showers in sight" trend will continue through the next several days. But there will be a cooldown on the way. It will be brief but Thursday into Thursday night will be feeling a little chilly, especially closer to the mountains.
Temperatures will trend below average for both the highs and the lows from now into Friday morning. Along the way, there will be clear skies and breezy winds at times.
Friday afternoon into Saturday involves temperatures bouncing back into the mid-60s to mid-70s, along with fair skies. Saturday looks great and will trend above average, so it is the Pick of the Week.
Sunday night into Monday, a storm system will try to swing into the Northeast. It will attempt to bring some much-needed showers to the region. There is a chance for rain to arrive Sunday evening and leave by Monday's morning rush.
After that system passes by, another cool-down is on the way for mid-week next week.
