A school principal from Westchester was featured front and center in Hillary Clinton's video announcing her 2016 presidential bid.
Sleepy Hollow High School Principal Carol Conklin-Spillane says she first got involved in the production two weeks ago. She received a call from a family friend asking for her help to generate buzz for Clinton's likely White House run.
Conklin-Spillane says her part in the video was done at her house in a low-key manner. She says she was at a street fair in Nyack when she found out about her prominent role in the video, and was overwhelmed by the response.
Clinton is now on a two-day visit to the nation's first primary state, New Hampshire.
A new poll conducted by CNN suggests that Clinton holds a commanding lead among Democratic hopefuls in 2016. She has 69 percent of the vote, compared to the 11 percent held by Vice President Joe Biden.
As for the Republicans, the poll found the race too close to call.
