Firefighters from Westchester County and the FDNY joined together today for hazmat drills.
The drill simulated a terrorist attack, involving chemicals splashed onto passengers on a bus.
"All the calls that we go to, we want to make sure that we can respond in an efficient manner, know what we're doing and keep them safe," says Capt. Andrew DiMaggio, of the New Rochelle Fire Department.
Westchester firefighters and the FDNY have previously trained together in firefighting drills, but this is the first time they joined together for a hazmat situation.
