Westchester County Executive George Latimer is providing a coronavirus update.
Latimer is at the Regent Street Senior Apartments in Port Chester as the county moves toward reopening.
33,691 positive total COVID-19 cases since March 1. 1,174 active cases. The number has dropped by 50 in last 24 hours.
1,381 total COVID-19 deaths in the county. 3 more deaths in last 24 hours.
Latimer says Reopening Task Force in Westchester County to meet for first time Wednesday.
Latimer hopes county will reach Phase 2 by June 9. Then, after two weeks, he hopes Phase 3 will go forward with the reopening of restaurants.
