Family and friends are laying a 25-year-old Warwick woman to rest today.
Funeral services were held for Catilin Feldner at the Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home today.
Felder was a passenger in a car driven by David Schermerhorn, 24, also of Warwick. The car hit a tree on Cross Road and burst into flames with Feldner trapped inside. Investigators told News 12 that Schermerhorn said they were coming home from a Wal-Mart when he fell asleep at the wheel and his car veered off the road.
Schermerhorn was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Feldner, a lifelong resident of Warwick, was a school bus monitor with the Warwick Valley Central School system and was also a talented artist.
She will be buried in Warwick Cemetery.
