Travel company: Wappingers students entitled to refund
The travel company that had booked trips for students in the Wappingers Central School District says it will be issuing refunds since the trips were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Many parents were concerned that they were not going to get their $700 back for the school trips to Washington, D.C and Boston.
Officials from EF Explore America says that all of the students on the tour are entitled to a refund minus $250.
They say the confusion over refunds may have stemmed from refund policies from a different division of the company.
