A Wallkill man has been convicted of a fatal stabbing that followed a road rage incident last October.
Horace Duke, 23, was convicted of manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
The incident happened near Exit 119 of State Route 17 in Wallkill.
Duke and 74-year-old Joel Laddy were involved in an accident. It escalated into a verbal argument which ended with Duke stabbing Laddy once in the chest with a kitchen knife.
Duke faces up to 25 years when he is sentenced in June. His attorney says he plans to appeal.
