A happy birthday, of sorts, to the Walkway over the Hudson.
The structure that allows you to walk 212 feet above the Hudson River has turned 135 years old!
It originally opened as the Poughkeepsie-Highland railroad bridge on Jan. 1, 1889.
Park officials say it was, at the time, the longest bridge in the world.
A fire destroyed much of the span in 1974 but it was restored in October 2009.
