Westchester County took steps toward a world without Alzheimer's during a walk held in Valhalla Sunday morning.
The Alzheimer's Association hosted its Walk to End Alzheimer's at Westchester Community College, where participants chose between a half mile or nearly two-mile route.
Proceeds go directly to the Alzheimer's Association.
So far, nearly $1 million has been raised.
