Wake services were held today for the grandmother who was killed in an apparent murder-suicide in Goshen.
Marie Giannone was found dead last Saturday inside her car in front of her Finnegan Lane home.
Police say Patrick Sorrentino, a former City of Newburgh police deputy chief, shot her several times before turning the gun on himself. The two had dated and broke up back in August, detectives have said.
Giannone's wake was held at the Donovan Funeral Home. Her funeral will be held on Saturday.
