Vladyslav Hvalyk, from New City, died in the crash last week.
His wake is being held at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home.
His funeral is scheduled for Friday at Saint Peter and Paul Ukrainian Church in Spring Valley.
A court hearing for the alleged drunk driver - a senior at Clarkstown North - was postponed.
