Hundreds gathered Thursday for the wake of a 6-year-old girl found dead in Croton-on-Hudson.
Lacey Carr was found unresponsive on Easter Sunday in her bed at her grandfather's home on Hastings Avenue.
Her mother, Kathleen Dymes, was unconscious on the floor next to the bed.
They were both rushed to Phelps Memorial Hospital, where Lacey was pronounced dead. Dymes is still in critical condition, and she hasn't yet talked to police about what happened.
News 12 has learned that Dymes' family has hired an attorney on her behalf. So far, police have been tight-lipped about their investigation and have not yet revealed what killed the girl.
A funeral Mass for Lacey Carr will be held Friday morning at the Holy Name of Mary Church in Croton.
