Dozens gathered at the Van Nest war memorial Tuesday to show support for their local veterans.
This year, U.S. Marine Corps veteran Joseph Ronda was honored for his six years of service. Ronda says he's blessed to be recognized for his time with the Marines.
Two other local veterans were honored during the ceremony, one of which is still classified as missing in action.
The annual ceremony is sponsored by the Van Nest Neighborhood Alliance.
