United is expecting the most passengers they've ever flown before over this Labor Day weekend.
The airline is expecting 3.1 million travelers from Thursday to Tuesday, which is 220,000 more than last year.
United expects an average of 55,000 passengers traveling through Newark during the timeframe.
The busiest days will be Friday and Monday.
The top domestic destinations include Las Vegas, Orlando, and Boston according to United.
And United says international bookings are up more than 10% compared to last year, top destinations include London, Frankfurt and Cancun.
There was a ground stop at Newark Airport Thursday and the FAA released this statement:
"The FAA cancelled the ground stop and is now slowing flights into Newark Liberty International Airport due to equipment issues that affected some radio frequencies in the Philadelphia TRACON area that handles Newark arrivals and departures. We are investigating the cause."
