A lethal cocktail of speed, alcohol and safety violations resulted in a crash Monday that ejected and killed one Croton-On-Hudson teen and injured two others. Police say Christopher McDonough, 17, was driving with friends Matthew Stanton and Dylan Franco along Route 9 in Montrose. McDonough lost control of the speeding car and hit a median. As the car skidded and flipped McDonough, McDonough who wasn?t wearing a seatbelt, was thrown 100 feet. He was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center and later died. Police say the teens had been drinking prior to the accident.Stanton is being treated at Westchester Medical Center and is expected to make a full recovery. Franco is at Phelps Memorial Hospital. There is no word on his condition. The crash comes as state and local police recently announced a campaign to nab drunk drivers.
