Westfield Trumbull Mall laid out new safety measures on its website ahead of its reopening on May 20.

Officials say they'll be enforcing face mask and social distancing requirements for employees and shoppers, as well as have strict occupancy limits in stores and public spaces.

Dr. Fred McKinney, an economics professor at Quinnipiac University, says while he's looking forward to getting the economy back on track. He's concerned that rushing things now could mean more trouble down the line.

The mall is fielding questions in real time via text chat for any questions about reopening.
