Truck crash knocks out Nanuet transformers

Traffic and electricity are flowing today in Nanuet after the driver of a tractor-trailer clipped a power line with his rig Thursday. Police say the accident happened on busy Route 59 yesterday afternoon.

Traffic and electricity are flowing today in Nanuet after the driver of a tractor-trailer clipped a power line with his rig Thursday.
Police say the accident happened on busy Route 59 yesterday afternoon.
Transformers, telephone poles, wires and oil covered the street. Police say power was knocked out, affecting businesses in the area, but it has since been restored.
There were no injuries to report.
