The mother of Trayvon Martin has written a heartfelt letter to the parents of Ferguson, Missouri shooting victim Michael Brown.
The shooting death of her teenage son in Florida also sparked nationwide outrage.
In Sybrina Fulton's open letter, published in Time magazine, she states "she wishes she had a word of automatic comfort, but she doesn't." She ends her letter with a call to action, writing "if they refuse to hear us, we will make them feel us."
Martin was fatally shot by George Zimmerman in 2012. Zimmerman claimed he acted in self-defense, and was found not guilty.
