Traveling woes have hit airports all across the country with packed runways, mile- long lines and canceled flights.
It has been reported that there have been more than 3,000 flight delays and 190 cancellations over the country, including Westchester County Airport.
Thomas Champion waited around Westchester County Airport for hours trying to get back to college, but was unsuccessful.
"I think it was just simply because of a lot of delays that just backed up, and this was the flight to cancel," he said.
Sarah Casey was supposed to be at work Monday morning in Charlotte, but her flight was also canceled.
While many travelers had to go to LaGuardia or JFK, officials tell News 12 that for the most part, it has been smooth sailing and most of the flights have been on time.
