Weather blamed for train derailment in Orangeburg

The weather is being blamed for a train derailment in Orangeburg today.
Officials say a freight train on the River Line derailed because of “weather-related” problems just before 7 a.m. near Western Highway.
A CSX Freight spokesman says the train was headed for Bergen, New Jersey, and that two cars came off the tracks.
The spokesman says there were no injuries and no leaks from any of the cars.
