The ramp on I-684 in Bedford has reopened after a tractor-trailer rolled over on the entrance ramp Thursday morning.
Police say the truck crashed just after 9 a.m. today on the southbound ramp from Route 172 in Bedford. None of the contents of the truck spilled onto the roadway.
The driver, Ranjit Singh, says he has been a driver for 30 years and never faced danger like this before.
He says he had a truck full of canned fruit that he picked up in Mount Kisco. He was headed back to New Jersey when he says he felt the load shift on one side and then in a matter of seconds his tractor flipped on its side. He says good Samaritans stopped and helped him climb out. He walked away without a scratch.
