Today is final day for small businesses to apply for the Paycheck Protection Program

Today is the last day small businesses and nonprofits can apply for the Paycheck Protection Program.
Even for businesses now reopening, the PPP is still available for financial relief.
The program started on April 3 and has provided guarantees for almost $519 billion in loans from banks and other private lenders, according to the Small Business Administration and the U.S. Treasury.
More than $134 billion in guarantees are still available.
Financial experts say business owners who were previously denied funding should reapply because some rules have changed.
