A viewer says he heard loud meows coming from underneath his vehicle and went looking for the source.

A neighbor from a nearby deli then stepped in to help, using cheese and salami to lure the frightened kitten out from underneath the car.
The rescue was a success, and the kitten was safely removed.
News 12 is told one of the auto shop workers has since taken the furry friend home.
