I'm going to send it over to Carol who was still in Thunderbolt. Carol. What can you tell us? Thank you so much, Emily, we are in Thunderbolt 12. We're on the Taconic in Westchester County and take a look at this. Uh, I think I heard you use the phrase winter wonderland. That is definitely what we are seeing at this point. Uh, cars are driving very slowly as you can see the snow is sticking and visibility. Uh, in a couple of words, not that great. Uh, these are the kinds of, uh, storms that you do not want to be on the road. You do not want to be out driving around in. Uh, we've seen a lot of drivers, uh, out of, uh, caution, uh, using their blinkers as they slow down and they drive along. We've also encountered some, uh, snow plows that are driving very slowly as they try to, uh, keep the, the, the slow to the snow to a minimum here on the roads. Uh, and that brings me to a word of advice for people as you're going to be seeing snow plows and in some areas, uh, salt trucks out on the roads, keep a very safe distance away from them, allow them to do their work. Don't be in a hurry to try to pass them. Uh, this is our way of giving you some advice to keep you safe in this storm.

Speaking of roads, our Carol Wilkinson is in thunderbolt, taking a look at the conditions. Carol, what can you tell the viewers? All right, Diane, thank you for that. I can all, as I like to say, I can show you even better than I can tell you. We are here in the town of Yorktown where you can see the road conditions. Uh We are seeing the snow flurries getting a little heavier as we drive around here in Yorktown. Um Earlier I spoke with Dave Paganelli, the highway superintendent for the town and he tells me that they are expecting upwards of double digits when it comes to snow accumulation. But he says they are definitely ready. Once the snow accumulates to a point of about two inches, then we will go to plowing, then we will have an additional 30 vehicles, small plow trucks because we have, unlike the state, we have a lot of cul de sacs, we have a lot of hills. You know, there's, it's a little more difficult than plowing a straight line. So the small trucks help immeasurably. And again, another view as we utilize uh thunderbolt 12 and we drive around here in the town of Yorktown, we can see that there are not that many cars on the roads. So we hope that people are, are taking our cautions to stay off the roads if you absolutely do not have to be out here. Uh, obviously you do need your windshield wipers because we're seeing a mix of snow and it's, it's very slushy, not a lot of accumulation on the roads at this point, but we will definitely keep you posted as the weather changes from Thunderbolt 12. And now our colleague, Carol Wilkinson is in Thunderbolt in Mount Vernon with the latest Carol. What can you tell us? Hello there, Emily. Hello, everyone. As you mentioned, we are here in Mount Vernon where we just covered the inauguration of Mayor Sean Patterson Howard. But we are in thunderbolt to show you what's going on weather wise. So let's take a look just about a half an hour ago, the snow flurries started coming down nothing bad at this point. But as you know, if you stick around long enough, the weather can obviously change. So we want to let people know as we brace for this upcoming storm when there is a storm, do not drive unless you absolutely, you have to, if you must be out, make sure you slow down as some roads become slick and slippery. We also tell people to leave plenty of time to get to their destination so that you're not out here speeding on potentially slick roads. And that's the latest information for you from Thunderbolt 12.
