The investigation into allegations that faculty and staff at the Bedford Hills Elementary School failed to report suspected child sex abuse has expanded.
Three more staff members have been suspended with pay. These suspensions are in addition to three other faculty members who were placed on paid leave. Among them is the school?s principal Victoria Graboski.
Bedford School Superintendent Debra Jackson did not provide further details about the investigation. She said that teachers are required by law to report any suspicions of abuse. A spokesman from the Westchester DA?s office told News 12 Westchester that any so-called ?mandated reporters? who fail to report abuse could be charged with a misdemeanor.
