For the second time in less than a week, a Scarsdale home was robbed.
According to police, burglars entered a home on Nelson Road and stole an undetermined amount of jewelry, electronics and cash Friday. Police said the owners reported the crime at 10:30 p.m. How and when the thieves entered the home and exactly what was stolen is under investigation, police said.
Police said the break-in does not appear connected to a frightening home invasion on Cushman Road a few days prior. On Wednesday night, two men and a woman forced their way into the house, tied up the owners and their daughter at gunpoint, and fled with $300,000 worth of watches and jewelry.
Police are searching for suspects in both the home invasion and Friday night's burglary.
