“There's only one wall left standing.” Fire destroys home in Cortlandt

Flames destroyed a home in Cortlandt this morning
Fire officials say the fire broke out just after 5 a.m. at a home on Sprout Brook Road.
Firefighters tell News 12 they had a tough time getting to the house due to an icy, steep driveway. "The roof collapsed from all the fire load. There was too much fire in there. The roof, the walls ... there's only one wall left standing," says Continental Village Fire Chief Patrick Strang.
No injuries have been reported
The cause of the fire has not been released.
