The Picture House in Bronxville recently opened a new room for education and community events in their movie theater.
The studio, which was formerly used as an office and storage area, is now also available to rent for parties, meetings and gatherings.
Officials from The Picture House say the studio opened last month and is part of a larger project that aims to make use of underutilized spaces in the theater.
"We're a nonprofit and were dedicated to being part of the community and so we wanted to give back to the community. To make sure the community knows if they need space, they can come use it with us,” said Clayton Bushong, the executive director of The Picture House Regional Film Center.
