White Plains takes long-term approach to improve road safety
9h agoThe Connecticut Department of Housing (DOH) and the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) announced on Thursday that they have signed financing agreements for five developments.
Officials said the project will create a total of 478 housing units, including 439 affordable units for low- and moderate-income renters.
DOH is providing a more than $16 million in loans for developments in Hamden, Hartford, New Haven, Rocky Hill and Torrington.
The affordable units will be designated for residents making between 25% and 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
State officials say, financing agreements mean construction can begin.
