Teen allegedly injured in Newburgh gunfire that struck apartment windows

City officials confirm the shots were fired overnight on Sunday outside of the Newburgh Housing Authority on Walsh Road.

News 12 is learning about a shooting in Newburgh earlier this week that sent bullets through several apartment windows and may have landed one person in the hospital.
City officials confirm the shots were fired overnight on Sunday outside of the Newburgh Housing Authority on Walsh Road.
They say shell casings from two different firearms were found at the scene.
A person who lives there sent us these pictures of bullet holes through two windows and says they took a teenage boy, who was hit in the back during the gunfire, to the hospital.
Officials, however, say no one was hurt and that the incident remains under investigation.
