A 14-year-old boy is recovering after being stabbed in the back in Yonkers.
Police say a group of men wearing masks chased the teen and stabbed him at around 2 a.m. Sunday.
A knife was found on the ground near the parking lot of an apartment complex located on Nepperhan Avenue.
The victim was found inside the complex, located at 358 Nepperhan Ave., and was taken to the hospital.
Police say an hour before the stabbing, another incident occurred on Morris Street. In that case, they say a victim was slashed in the face, but he is not cooperating with the investigation.
Police say the victims from the two stabbings are expected to be OK.
Also in Yonkers, officials say there was an attempted robbery on South Broadway at around 5 a.m. Sunday. Investigators say the suspect used a machete. No one was hurt in the incident.
