A 17-year-old was arraigned Tuesday on a second-degree murder charge in connection to a fatal drive-by shooting in Yonkers.
Anthony Burton, of Yonkers, is accused of firing the shots that took the life of 19-year-old Jessica Santos outside a deli on Beech Street Sunday. Police say Burton was the target of a shooting in July. However, he refused to cooperate with investigators. Police believe the drive-by shooting was in retaliation; Santos was not thought to be the intended target.
The shooting is still under investigation and officials say more charges could follow.
