Taxi regulations in Ramapo undergo changes

Taxi requirements have changed in Ramapo as the town board passed a new law requiring all taxi cabs and other paid driving services to be licensed and regulated.
Ramapo police state that the new law aims to protect the health, safety, and welfare of those using the services.
Taxi drivers must operate cars driven by Ramapo-licensed drivers and be registered and inspected by the town of Ramapo.
Once approved, drivers will receive the Ramapo taxi sticker. Those who haven't started the process should reach out to the Town of Ramapo Taxi Commission.
