A day after testifying in graphic detail about a Greenburgh police officer's sexual fetish, a former dominatrix was back in Greenburgh Town Court Tuesday, for her arrest on marijuana possession charges.
A judge has now ordered the release of internal affairs audiotapes made with the two police officers who arrested Pane on January 21. Pane?s attorneys contend police did not have probable cause to approach her car, search the vehicle and arrest Pane. Pane claims police sexually harassed her after her arrest. However, after the court hearing, Greenburgh Police Chief John Kapica told News 12 Westchester that the tapes support the grounds for her arrest. Kapica says they also go into detail on what went on inside the police station.
Pane, who has filed papers to sue the Greenburgh Police Department for $2 million, claimed she agreed to the alleged kinky sex act with Officer Erik Ward in hopes of getting the marijuana possession charge dismissed. Ward was charged with official misconduct and his non-jury trial began Monday. Pane gave graphic details about the alleged encounter in Ward?s trial. But Ward's attorney claims there was no sexual act, and accuses Pane of lying. Pane's attorneys say a plea bargain was offered to their client, but they are pursuing the case in court as a matter of principle, regardless of the salacious details involved.
