Another swastika has been found in Rockland County - this time inside a corporate building in Suffern.
Police say they found a large swastika spray-painted inside the site after a fire extinguisher set off a fire alarm Monday.
There was no fire, but police say they did discover the swastika and other graffiti on the second floor of the building currently owned by a Jewish-run LLC called Suffern Partners.
The building was formerly owned by Novartis Pharmaceuticals. Officials say 50,000 square feet of the entire 500,000 square feet of the building is occupied.
Suffern Police Chief Clarke Osborn told News 12 the swastika was large enough to be seen from across the room, spray-painted alongside other graffiti.
While police aren't sure when it was put up, they say suspects probably accessed the building through several unlocked doors.
"The village of Suffern will tolerate no hatred in any form or way," says Suffern Mayor Ed Markunas.
Police say they are actively investigating the incident and are trying to get security footage from inside the building to determine when and who might have painted the hate symbol.
They say some of the graffiti they found inside the building appears to be freshly painted.
