Many organizations in Westchester braved the cold today to pick up some free turkeys in Yonkers.
Two school teachers told News 12 that they've been coming to Stew Leonard's for the past 10 years to collect 10 free turkeys for students at P.S. 29 in Yonkers.
This is the supermarket chain's 35th year of giving away close to 2,000 turkeys.
There are 32 different organizations from Westchester County and the Bronx collecting their 10 turkeys.
