Many SUNY Oneonta students spent Labor Day moving back home.
All residential students must be out of their dorms by Monday.
It comes as the college reports nearly 600 coronavirus cases linked to off campus parties.
A senior from Elmsford, who had to pack up after just two short weeks on campus, tells News 12 the last few days have been grueling on him and his family.
The school says all students will receive a full refund for room and board.
Students are now preparing to learn remotely for the rest of the fall semester.
