If you spend too much time at the office, a lack of sleep is the least of your worries.
A new study shows that people who work 55 hours or more a week are more likely to have a stroke.
Researchers from University College London say those who work such long hours were found to have a 33 percent increased risk of stroke and 13 percent greater chance of developing coronary heart disease compared to people who work the standard 35- to 40-hour work week.
The study also reports that working long hours also tends to be connected with stress, physical inactivity and higher alcohol consumption.
