A religion teacher at Albertus Magnus Catholic High School in Rockland County had her students watch Pope Francis' address to Congress Thursday morning.
Mary Parisi, chair of the theology department, said she hoped her students got something special out of the pope's first visit to the United States.
"Pope Francis is making my job as a theology teacher very easy, because he puts the lessons into action," Parisi told News 12.
The pontiff arrived in New York Thursday evening and celebrated Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral.
