Muslim, Jewish and Christian students at Iona College came together Monday evening to remember the tragedy in Paris.

About 200 people gathered for the candlelight vigil to remember and support the innocent victims of terror in Paris, France.

Speakers included a Catholic priest, a rabbi, and a Muslim, all united in a show of peaceful solidarity.

Also standing together were about two dozen exchange students from France who have been studying at Iona since September. All are worried about the unrest at home. 

"I'm sad and scared because if it can happen in what we call a safe country, what can happen next? So we are scared. Does it mean our future children [are] gonna live in a wild world?" asked French exchange student Lea Wust.

The vigil aimed to unite the Iona College community.
