Students in Eastchester got a chance to find out what it'd be like to work at a news station during the school's career day.
Seventh-graders from Tuckahoe Middle School took notes and learned about different careers, including the ins and outs of a 24-hour news station.
Several students were inspired to work on TV. "I think this would be an awesome career because you get to inform people about what's going on and get to talk to local communities and local people about bad things and good things that are going on at the time," says student Anthony Gjelaj.
News 12's own Lisa Salvadorini presented at that event and spoke to kids about her job as the morning anchor.
