Moms are taking action amid growing concerns in two Westchester river towns over alleged incidents of racism.

Ardsley mom Monica Taylor says both her children have been called the N-word while students at Ardsley High School.

In nearby Dobbs Ferry, a T-shirt warning people to respect the village and keep it the way it is has allegedly been sent to people of color moving into the community.

Taylor and several other Ardsley moms of color have founded the group Racial Advocacy Committee for Equity, or R.A.C.E., to address the issues of racism.

Last week, the group held a virtual town hall with village and school officials and hundreds of other parents.
