A pair of stabbings in Yonkers sent two men to the hospital overnight in two separate incidents, police say.

One man was seriously injured in a stabbing on Eliot and Post in an incident that started as a dispute between two acquaintances. Police say the man was stabbed in the abdomen and was hospitalized with serious injuries.

Police say they've identified a person of interest in that case and are working on making an arrest.

A second stabbing was reported on Park Hill and School Street. That's where police say a man was stabbed in the head and taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Cops say a person of interest in this incident has also been identified and officers are working on making an arrest.
