STORM WATCH: Unsettled weather to kick off the weekend

Scattered showers and storms tonight fade but return Saturday.  Will they make the whole weekend a washout?

Saturday stays unsettled, as the cold front has yet to clear the area.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • There will be rainy chances in the morning to afternoon hours. Some areas could see some quick downpours. Is it enough to cancel any outdoor plans? I do not think so, but it is something to keep in mind as you go out to enjoy your day.
  • The cold front will pass by overnight from Saturday into Sunday. There will be lowered humidity levels for the day along with a mix of sun and clouds. It will be the nicer of the two weekend days to be out and about.
  • Monday continues that trend from Sunday, but we'll have rain chances on the rise going into Tuesday. Afterwards though, the shower chances are good with fair skies returning to wrap up the work week.
