State police say a stolen car was found submerged in a pond in Goshen Wednesday where a missing woman was found dead in December.
Authorities responded late morning to the area of Exit 124 off Route 17.
Police say the stolen car was found in a drainage retention pond, but that no body was found inside.
Nicole Brown, who had been missing from Monroe for several days, was found deceased inside her car at the same pond last December. Brown was 45.
Police say there’s no connection to Brown's case and that her death remains under investigation.
