A baby girl was born on the side of a parkway in Yonkers Tuesday, with the help of a state trooper.
Officials say the baby's parents, who are from Mt. Kisco, were racing down the parkway to St. John's Riverside Hospital, but the mother's water broke and the dad had to pull over at the 2.3 mile marker.
Officials say a New York state trooper helped the father deliver the baby.
The mother and the baby were taken to the hospital and are both doing fine.
