State monitors released a review of the East Ramapo Central School District that discusses widespread improvements.
The improvements included restoring full-day kindergarten, expanding language and arts programs, and even embarking on a $58 million capital improvement plan.
Community activist Steven White says he doesn’t take issues with the report itself, but White says that it only highlights the improvements that were already made.  He says it doesn't touch on the work that still has to be done, like smaller class sizes.
"The monitor should be listing and addressing the needs that aren't being met before they announce mission accomplished,” he says.
News 12 reached out to the superintendent's office for comment but has not heard back.
