St. Anthony Catholic Church in Yonkers celebrated its 100th anniversary over the weekend with a special Mass and communion.
Pastor Daniel Tuite told parishioners that the parish has witnessed many accomplishments over the last century.
"In
100 years of parish life, St. Anthony's has witnessed 3,215 baptisms,
4,725 first communions, 3,735 confirmations, 1,052 marriages – that’s
not bad work for 100 years,” he said.
The special Mass was led by Cardinal Timothy Dolan.
