A Spring Valley man has been charged with attempted murder after police say he set his girlfriend's car on fire right next to her house.
Police say 19-year-old Neftaly Roque-Ramirez torched the white pick-up truck behind the home on West Street in Spring Valley early Wednesday morning.
Investigators says they got a lead on Ramirez after talking to the victim's neighbors.
No one was injured in the blaze.
