First responders arrived on the scene quickly and were able to safely remove the deer from the water.

Yorktown residents temporarily without water following two water main breaks
13ds agoRamapo police officers and Spring Valley firefighters rescued a baby deer from drowning in a flooded construction site on Herrick Avenue today.
The deer was trapped in the flooded foundation of a building under construction.
First responders arrived on the scene quickly and were able to safely remove the deer from the water.
The young animal was then reunited with its family.
